Our mission is to promote community, social, and economic development through the provision of financial, lending, developmental, and technical services, to low-income individuals, distressed communities, and underserved populations, particularly, but not exclusively through affordable housing.

Gateway Community Development Fund, Inc. has applied for certification and as an Emerging CDFI (Community Development Financial Institution) that will provide Financial Products and Development Services to underserved, low-income and distressed communities in the St. Louis, Missouri and Kansas City, Missouri Metropolitan areas (the Target Markets).

Gateway intends to address the rapidly growing need of affordable housing solutions and financial products for owners and operators of rental housing to help assure the affordable nature of such housing and thus continued financial viability of those developments. The financial fitness of these properties is key to their success.
