What Information is Collected

We collect “information you provide to us,” which may include “Personally Identifiable Information.” We also collect “automatic information.” Personally Identifiable Information is information that tells us who you are, including your name, address, and email address. Personally Identifiable Information does not include aggregate information that, by itself, does not allow for the identification of an individual person. Automatic information is technical information automatically collected by our web server (which may be hosted by a third-party), such as the identity of your internet service provider, the type of browser that you use, and your computer’s IP address. Each time you visit the Site, our web server automatically recognizes (where possible) and collects this information.

Information you provide to us

We collect the information you voluntarily choose to provide to us. Generally, such information will consist of information you enter on any of the forms found on our site. For example, the information you provide to us on the Site is collected and stored when you ask a question through our “Contact Us” form. Such information may include Personally Identifiable Information such as your name, mailing address, phone number, e-mail address or other information that you provide us.

IP Address: An IP address is a number assigned to your computer when you connect to the Internet. As part of the protocol of the Internet, web servers can identify your computer by its IP address. In addition, web servers may be able to identify the type of browser you are using or even the type of computer. This information does not identify you personally.

GCDFI collects IP addresses and related information for the purposes of system administration and to assess the traffic to our site. The IP address may also be used to approximate your geographic location. We aggregate this data with data on the pages visited by other users to track overall visitor traffic patterns. We use this information to improve our Site by making it more responsive to the needs and preferences of our users. We do not link IP addresses to your personally identifiable information.

Cookies: Cookies are pieces of information that are placed on an individual’s computer hard drive to enable the individual to more easily communicate and interact with our Web site. We may use cookie technology to track your click path through our Site. Though this information does not identify you personally, we may use it to help customize your visit to our site. We may also use cookies to record how many times a user has visited our Site and what pages the user has accessed. Most internet browsers allow you to disallow receiving cookies. Disabling cookies may negatively impact your user experience on our website.

Web Beacons: if you have signed up to receive email from us, we may also use tags or beacons to confirm if you have received and opened our message.

The information GCDFI collects and stores is for its own use only, in order to communicate with you and to provide you with better service and more information. We may also use this data to improve the Site. We may also use and share this information as necessary to complete a transaction with you. We may also share this information if required to do so by applicable law. We may share this information with third-parties who provide services for us. Otherwise, GCDFI does not share, sell, rent, or trade your personally identifiable information without your prior consent, and does not share, sell, rent, or trade your personally identifiable information to any third party for promotional purposes.
