Gateway offers short-term loans to for-profit and not-for-profit developers to finance the purchase and rehabilitation of distressed homes which are then sold to owner-occupants. This product allows providers to improve properties block by block, rather than one or two houses at a time, fulfilling a need for safe and welcoming neighborhoods for families who are ready to purchase a home.
